Many procedures are available to treat the stiffness, pain and weakness that can occur with arthritic conditions in the wrist.
Nail Bed Injuries
Nail injury and fingertip injury are both very common. A damaged nail bed must be repaired accurately to avoid poor nail growth, if there is underlying fracture this should be assessed and fixed if necessary. Nail injury in children can be difficult to assess due to the bones being poorly visible on x rays.
Referral to hand surgeon is recommended to exclude unstable “`Seymour fracture”
